Full time staff

Our London based economists work on management and technical implementation of our international projects, as well as ongoing business development. We maintain a high proportion of full-time staff in our overseas consulting teams — a strategy we believe ensures closer teamwork and greater efficiency.

We are not all economists. We also employ project managers, project administrators, recruitment coordinators and accountants.

  • Job satisfaction – We make a real contribution to developing and transition countries. As part of the Maxwell Stamp team you can be at the forefront of these decision-making and planning processes and help make a significant difference to the world economy.
  • Diversity – From planning privatisations in Albania to building trade capacity in Zambia, you’ll be advising governments and private clients on challenging and complex projects. See our Global experience and What we do for details of our scope.
  • Recognition – We acknowledge and reward success, and your achievements will be recognised externally as well. We’re internationally renowned for excellence and innovation, and you could be part of a recognised leader in the economic development consultancy field.
  • Opportunities – We have a flat hierarchy, so you are only restrained by your own ambitions and abilities, not by corporate timeframes or management structures. If you have the skills and the drive there are no roadblocks to running your own practice area, reaching senior management, or joining the Board of Directors.

To join our team as an economist, you’ll need technical, management and communication skills as well as a minimum of two years’ postgraduate experience in projects related to one or more of our practice areas (see “What we do”). You will preferably have overseas work experience, and language skills are an obvious advantage. Click for testimonials of “What’s it like to work for Maxwell Stamp?”.
